Itinerary

Day One:  Arrival to Cairo Airport - Welcome to Egypt

Upon your arrival to Egypt home of all that is unique, our "Egypt Tours Portal" representative will be waiting for you at Cairo airport where he will help you complete all of your passport control formalities and luggage identification & carry. From the airport, you will be transferred by a private air-conditioned car to your 5* hotel for checking-in.  

  • Dinner Time

  In the evening, you will begin your tour by a Dinner cruise on the heavenly Nile as you will get to relax and witness a colorful belly dancing show with a folklore band featuring the amazing Tannoura spin in keeping with Egypt's whirling dervishes' tradition.

In the end, you will return to your hotel for the overnight.

  • Giza Pyramids Complex

  The Giza pyramids complex is located in the mysterious western desert for the last 4000 years which makes it one of the oldest monuments in the world. The entire complex consists of three main Pyramids, six little pyramids, the great protector of Egypt the glorious Sphinx and there is also the valley temple that was used to preserve the heritage and legacy of the kings and queens for countless generations.  

  • The Great Giza Pyramid of Khufu

  The last intact structure of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World makes it one of the oldest and largest constructions in the entire current world. The Great Pyramid is surrounded by mysteries and fringe theories due to its complex interior compared to its magnitude. It dates to 2580 BC which makes it older than 4500 years old, the structure was the first of its kind which launched the golden age of construction in Ancient Egypt. It was built in 20 years using 2,300,000 pieces of limestone each weighing 2.5 tons and a workforce of 100,000 free skilled workers. It stands at the height of 147 m (481 ft) which made it the tallest building in the world for 3800 years until the construction of the Lincoln Cathedral in England in 1311.  

  • The Great Sphinx

  The oldest statue in history has the shape of a mythical creature called the Sphinx which has the body of a lion and the head of a man probably King Khafre as a symbol of power and wisdom. It is known as Abu Al-Hawl which means The Father of terror in Arabic. It has a height of 73 m (240 ft) and 19 m (66 ft) and was carved out of single limestone rock.  

  • The Valley Temple

  The place where the Mummification process took place. The valley was constructed in Egypt's Old Kingdom (2686 2134 BC). It's one of the best-preserved structures of the Ancient Egyptian Civilization, made entirely from limestone, and granite, and holds amazing diorite statues of Chephren.

Day Three:  Tour to Luxor Most Famous Attractions

It is a nice day to have a pleasant breakfast and then go directly to visit Luxor tourist attractions with your qualified private Egyptologist starting by:  

  • Valley of the Kings

The Valley has acted as the final resting place and a stairway to heaven for the greatest Kings and Queens of Egypt's New Kingdom (1570-1070 BC). It is one of the most important archaeological spots in the world as it became a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979. It holds 63 tombs filled with various enchanting artifacts, decorations, and the remains of pharaohs like Ramses (I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, IX, X), Amenhotep I, Hatshepsut, and the famous boy king Tutankhamen. The majority of the tombs there belong to favored nobles and members of the royal family. It was established as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. It is home to tombs such as Ramses II and Tutankhamen.  

  • Hatshepsut Temple

  A.K.A. Djeser-Djeseru (Holy of Holies) is the beauty of Luxor, it reflects the greatness of the new kingdom (1550-1070 BC) and showcases the vision and glory of one of the most successful rulers in the history of Ancient Egypt Queen Hatshepsut. It was designed by Hatshepsut s chancellor Senenmut in 1479 BC and took 15 years to construct. The design of the temple is based on the concept of Classical Architecture. It holds some of the most impressive decorations and statues in all of Egypt.  

  • Colossi of Memnon

  Two blocks of quartzite sandstone standing at the height of 18 m (60ft) weighing 720 tons each that has the shape of Amenhotep III (1386-1350). The Colossi are quite damaged due to a large earthquake in 27 BC but were rebuilt again in 199 AD. The Colossi of Memnon was famous during the Greco-Roman period as there used to be a rumor of the Vocal Memnon as the statues sang from time to time which was nothing more than the sound of the wind passing through the statue.

  • Karnak Temple

  One of the world's biggest open-air museums, it was known as Ipet-isu which means "The Most Selected Of Places", and Pr-Imn House Of Amon, it dates more than 4000 years and is the largest religious man-made construction in the world. Karnak Temple was the center of the religious worship of the entire ancient Egyptian kingdom, it was dedicated to the Theban triad which consisted of God Amun with his wife the Goddess of Justice & balances Mut and his son the moon god Khnsou, plus other gods like the great Osiris, Montu, Ptah, and Isis.  

  • Overnight

  It is time now to transfer to Luxor Airport to return to Cairo for the overnight.

Day Four:  Tour to Alexandria Landmarks

Morning time, have your delicious breakfast meal and then our deft tour guide will take you on a tour to visit Alexandria tourist attractions starting with:  

  • Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa

  The Catacombs are quite unique as there is only one of its kind in all of Egypt. This Necropolis dated to the 2nd century AD and is able to combine the artistic elements of the Hellenistic and Roman with the ancient Egyptian Pharaonic design in the ultimate breathtaking and amazing fashion. It holds a number of great numbers of Greek and Roman artifacts and decoration in its three-level stories which made it gain the title of one of the seven wonders of the Middle Ages.  

  • Pompey's Pillar

  The Colossi of Memnon stands at the height of 28 m tall and 2.7 m wide of pure red granite and on its western upper side is a Greek inscription dedicated to Emperor Diocletian. The pillar is famous for being the largest monolith column ever built outside of Rome. It was named Pompey's pillar as in the Middle Ages the Crusaders mistakenly believed that the remains of the great Roman general Pompey is located in a pot at the very top of the pillar.

  • Qaitbay Citadel

  Qaitbay citadel is a beautiful mixture of Islamic architecture and genuine Mediterranean beauty, it was constructed in 1477 by Sultan Al-Ashraf Sayf Al-Din Qa'it Bay on top of the legendary lighthouse of Alexandria using the stones salvaged from the lighthouse that served as the third-longest surviving wonder in the ancient world until it's destruction by earthquakes between 956 AD and 1323 AD. Qaitbay Citadel is quite famous as some believe it holds the immortal shining spirit of the Alexandria Lighthouse and contains phenomenal designs for the Islamic era.  

  • Alexandria Library

  Alexandria library is one of the biggest and most advanced libraries in the world, it acts as a commemoration of the ancient Alexandria library. It contains the world's sixth-largest Francophone library in the world. It is a trilingual library as it contains books in Arabic, English, and French and holds the largest depository of French books in North Africa and the Middle East, incredible art galleries plus a collection of some of the rarest books in the world.
